XI. Conclusion.

L’implantation d’un stimulateur du nerf vague est une intervention simple. Il faut simplement veiller d’une part à ne pas abîmer le nerf vague lors de sa dissection et lors de la pose de l’électrode, d’autre part à respecter une asepsie rigoureuse afin de limiter le risque infectieux. Comme l’ensemble des techniques de neurochirurgie fonctionnelle, cette technique implique une collaboration harmonieuse entre neurologues et neurochirurgiens.
